Job summary

Med-Trans, part of Global Medical Response, is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role is full-time and based in the United States, with a salary range of $102,072 to $112,280 plus a 15% geographic modifier, plus stipends and bonuses.

You will ensure aircraft readiness, maintain regulatory documentation, and work closely with dispatch and flight crews. Minimum requirements include a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating,

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating and FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum: 2,000 total flight hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours; 1,000 turbine hours.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours; 200 instrument hours (actual) required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following protocol for Med-Trans changes.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
