Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans unit seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for customers. You will work with a medical team to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities, ensuring aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining aircraft and documents, coordinating with dispatch and crews, and handing off shift details per procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating and FAA Class II Medical Certificate are required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours and 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours and 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• B407 Aircraft Experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and customers safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team per Med-Trans procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
