Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for track and field at Andover, MA. The role focuses on jumps: high jump, long jump, triple jump, with duties including leading runway workouts, conditioning, and event drills to develop athletes' technique.

Seasonal schedules span Winter Indoor (Dec 3, 2026–Feb 2027) and Spring Outdoor (Mar 23, 2027–May, travel for away meets). Approximately 20 hours per week; non-benefit eligible position.

Qualificações

• Two years of experience coaching vertical and horizontal jumps in club, high school, or college settings.
• Experience competing in vertical and/or horizontal jumps at high school, college, or higher levels.
• Ability to motivate and serve as a positive role model for high school-aged students.
• Collaborative and adaptable approach with coaching staff.
• Availability for Monday–Saturday practice and meet schedule, including travel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead runway workouts and off-track conditioning for jump events.
• Teach event-specific drills to develop athletes’ technique and performance.
• Contribute to meet-day operations and travel for away meets.
