Job summary

Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Jewelry CAD Designer for the Jewelry Design and Innovation Workshop (JDIW) in New York City. The role focuses on translating concepts into precise 3D CAD models, creating finished goods drawings, and collaborating with design, manufacturing and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive CAD/modeling experience with Rhino, Modo and SolidWorks, along with strong communication skills to support cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial or Fashion Design, or Engineering.
• Significant CAD and model making training and experience.
• Expert skill-set with Rhino, Modo, SolidWorks, T-Splines, Z-Brush, Adobe CS, KeyShot, V-Ray, Maxwell.

Responsibilities

• Translate Design Concepts into reality and interface with Design Creative, Manufacturing & JDIW teams.
• Plan, create, develop, and maintain 3D CAD models for new products and line extensions.
• Create technical illustrations and Finished Good Drawings for concepts and reverse engineered products.
• Provide CAD direction on fabrication methods for critical requirements documents.
• Develop and present CAD solutions to assist product development across teams.
• Lead CAD discussions and provide design guidance during prototyping phases.
