Job summary

AT&T in Midland, Texas is seeking an Installation Technician to install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and small businesses. You will work independently as a trusted expert, solving issues and delivering best‑in‑class service.

You’ll meet new customers daily, handle ladders and cables, and be available for evenings, weekends, and overtime. The role includes paid training and opportunities for career advancement within AT&T’s network services.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills while working with customers.
• Identify wire and cable color codes accurately.
• Show physical stamina for lifting (up to 60 lbs) and ladder work.
• Be available for overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Install the latest technology for high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services.
• Install and activate services at customers' homes or businesses.
• Meet customers daily, troubleshoot issues, and provide top‑tier support.
• Document work performed and ensure safety during installations.
