• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing/maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Know trenching and shoring standards.
• Keep time and material records.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes/classifications and load weights.
• Travel to various work sites as needed.
• Assist Laborer with pipe/utility laying or road work when required.
