Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in medium and/or heavy truck repair.
• VA State Inspector's certification or willingness to obtain it.
• A valid Class A or B CDL or willingness to obtain one.
• Paccar, Cummins, and CAT Certifications or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Receives repair order assignments from Shop Foreman
• Performs work directed in order and in a timely and thorough manner with high workmanship standards
• Advises Shop Foreman of recommended changes in services ordered by the customer
• Determines if further repairs should be recommended and communicates to the Shop Foreman
• Maintains training and experience with equipment and servicing techniques
• Attends training sessions as required by the Service Manager
• Performs additional repairs if customer returns due to technician's workmanship
• Maintains accurate work order records and time clocks
