Job summary

The h.wood Group, a Los Angeles-based hospitality and lifestyle company, seeks a Floor Manager for its luxury dining operations. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, train new staff, and ensure top-tier service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a full-service, high-volume dining setting, strong leadership and front/back of house knowledge, and excel under pressure while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team in a high paced setting.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks in stressful environments.
• Strong knowledge of front and back house operations.
• Great decision making and organizational skills.
• Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the new hire paperwork and training of new staff members.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding food quality, safety, labor, and employment.
• Ensure cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Respond to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by AGM and GM.
• Other tasks as assigned.
