Job summary

CAE is seeking an Instructor Pilot to deliver high-quality flight simulator and ground school training in compliance with CAE curricula and regulatory requirements. You will lead clients through their training, acting as a SME while upholding safety and instructional excellence.

After approximately 1.5 years, designated instructors may qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman, based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Strong teaching and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based apps.
• Authorized to live and work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver simulator and classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Conduct thorough and professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
• Maintain training records, track instructional qualifications, and recommend remedial training.
• Serve as SME in curriculum and courseware development and maintenance.
• Provide a professional, welcoming learning environment with customer-focused training.
