Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Fitness Sales Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead a team of elite personal trainers, drive the growth of the training department, and uphold the Gold's Gym standard of excellence. You will coach on the floor, manage sales initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and results.

You'll hire and develop top performers, coordinate schedules and events, and partner with leadership to deliver measurable outcomes in member engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI, etc.) preferred
• CPR/AED Certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations
• Track team performance metrics - sales, session volume, retention, and engagement
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility
