Job summary

Gold's Gym of the Carolinas and Florida is seeking a Fitness Sales Manager to lead the Personal Training team, drive training sales, and develop staff across our Charlotte-area clubs. You will mentor trainers, manage bookings, and ensure high member satisfaction while delivering measurable revenue growth on the floor daily.

In this role you’ll coach, coach, and coach—setting the standard for professionalism, accountability, and results in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, NPTI, etc.) preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong understanding of fitness programming, member engagement, and business operations
• Professional appearance, leadership presence, and effective communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and be physically active on the gym floor

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Personal Training team
• Drive all aspects of personal training sales, revenue, and member conversion
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and sales presentations
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing trainers
• Manage schedules, session bookings, and department operations
• Track team performance metrics - sales, session volume, retention, and engagement
• Foster an elite culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute major club events and initiatives
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and visibility
