Job summary

The Energy and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice seeks experienced criminal litigators for its Environmental Crimes Section in Washington, D.C. One or more vacancies may be filled.

Applicants must hold a J.D. degree, be active bar members, and be U.S. citizens. A minimum of four years of post-J.D. criminal litigation experience and at least three criminal trials are required; federal/state/local prosecutorial or defender background is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction and U.S. citizenship.
• At least 4 years of post-J.D. criminal litigation experience.
• Litigated a minimum of three criminal trials.
• Experience as Federal, State or Local prosecutor or defender preferred.
