The Transportation Security Administration is hiring Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial aviation. This demanding role requires discretion, physical readiness, firearms proficiency, and the ability to work independently on flights and in transit.

Officers may travel frequently, are subject to irregular schedules, and must pass a full background, medical and polygraph, with eligibility for Top Secret clearance. This is a fulltime, on-site position serving the Welch area and beyond.

Qualificações

• Three years of progressively responsible experience or a bachelor's degree or higher or a combination accordingly.
• Review transcripts if education is used to qualify.
• Qualification standards vary by vacancy and may change.

Responsabilidades

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorist activity and other threats.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights.
• Assess developing situations and respond with limited backup.
• Carry a firearm and maintain firearms proficiency.
• Conduct law enforcement, investigative, analytical and advisory activities.
• Identify and interview witnesses or suspects when required.
