Job summary

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial flights, operate in the air and on the ground, and perform law enforcement duties with discretion and physical readiness.

This full-time role requires U.S. citizenship, eligibility for a Top Secret clearance, and the ability to travel. Training is provided, and duties may include federal aviation security tasks and counterterrorism missions. Pay ranges from $30.00 to $60.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience or a bachelor’s degree or higher, or a qualifying combination.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to pass medical, fitness, polygraph, and background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from threats using discretion and professional judgment.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights and respond to risks.
• Carry firearms and maintain required firearms proficiency.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and provide advisory support.
• Engage in multi‑agency operations and counterterrorism tasks.
