Job summary

Smilebuilderz LLC in Ephrata, PA seeks an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support providers with advanced restorative procedures, chairside assistance, radiographs, impressions, and patient education. You will help maintain patient flow, discuss treatment plans, and ensure sterilization and OSHA compliance in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required and at least 1 year of EFDA experience.
Current EFDA license and CPR certification must be maintained.
Continuing education (CE) requirements must be met.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Chairside support during procedures and patient care.
Take radiographs, digital scans, and impressions.
Review medical/dental history and document findings.
Provide post-op instructions and patient education.
Assist with treatment plan discussions and case acceptance.
