Job summary

US Navy Information Warfare Community seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs): highly skilled linguists who collect, translate, transcribe, and analyze foreign language communications to inform national security and fleet operations. You will operate radios and computers, interpret languages, and report technical intelligence while handling classified material.

Phase training includes language and cryptologic linguistics with assignments at shore centers and occasional duty aboard

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States and eligible for security clearances.
• Strong interest in languages and cryptologic analysis.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
• Willingness to deploy aboard ships/submarines.
• Ability to learn foreign languages.

Responsibilities

• Operate radio receivers, recording devices, computers and comms systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleets and agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced AI/ML systems.
• Prepare assignments during temporary duty aboard Navy ships/submarines.
