Job summary

ENGEO seeks a field inspection professional to perform reinforced concrete and steel inspections, sampling, and related duties at project sites across California. You will document results daily using a company tablet and work with project teams to meet client needs.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, HS diploma or GED, and active or eligible ACI/ICC certifications. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; college coursework a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to transport up to 50 lbs.
• ACI Field Grade Testing 1 and ICC Master of Special Inspection certifications required/bonus if obtained.
• Active Local Operating Engineers 3 union membership or eligibility upon hire.
• Experience in data entry and using MS Office for daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections: reinforcing steel, concrete placement, sampling.
• Conduct pre/post-stressed, post-installed anchors, masonry, structural steel, and other inspections as qualified.
• Document results daily using company tablet/computer and report findings.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city agents, and project managers.
