Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Competition Venue Staff member at Stratton Mountain Resort. This seasonal, part-time role supports the preparation, maintenance, and teardown of training and competition venues for events, ensuring safe, high-quality spaces for athletes and guests.

Ideal candidates will have ski or snowboard ability at an expert level, familiarity with venue setup, and knowledge of US Ski & Snowboard rules.

Qualifications

• Expert skiing or snowboarding ability is required.
• US Ski & Snowboard/USASA membership recommended.
• Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid required.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare venues for training.
• Build, maintain, and tear down venues for races and events.
• Maintain guest and employee rapport and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain asset protection and inventory control.
• Supervise training venues to ensure safety.
• Uphold highest safety standards and code compliance.
