Job summary

United CNC Machining is looking for an experienced CNC Turn Programmer/Machinist with 5+ years of CNC turning, 5-axis machining experience, and strong working knowledge of Mazatrol conversational controls. The right person can program, set up, and run CNC turning equipment, interpret G and M codes, read 2D prints and 3D models, and apply GD&T to make sure parts meet specifications.

This role supports prototype machining and limited-production runs for aerospace and defense components,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC turning experience.
• Strong Mazatrol conversational controls knowledge.
• Ability to read 2D prints and 3D models with GD&T.
• Experience in AS9100D or ISO-certified environments a plus.
• Mastercam experience a plus; ITAR compliance eligibility.

Summary:

United CNC Machining islooking for an experienced CNC Turn Programmer/Machinist with 5+ years of CNCturning experience, 5-axis machining experience, and strong working knowledgeof Mazatrol conversational controls. This rolesupports prototype machining and limited-production runs for mission-criticalaerospace and defense components, so high attention to detail, strongproblem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality are essential. Experiencein an AS9100D or ISO-certified environment and Mastercam is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and run CNC turning equipment.


• Operate and program with Mazatrol conversational controls(required).


• Interpret and apply G and M codes.


• Perform prototype machining and support limited-productionruns.


• Read and interpret 2D prints and 3D models.


• Apply GD&T to ensure parts meet design intent andspecifications.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC Turn experience.


• Strong working knowledge ofMazatrol controls.


• Ability to read and interpret 2Dprints and 3D models.


• High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment toquality


• Experience in an AS9100D certified or ISO-certified environment.

• Must be ableto obtain/maintain compliance with ITAR requirements (U.S. Person statusrequired)

Physical & Mental Demands

• Must be able to work in a sitting position for extendedperiods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or travel) in an office/industrialenvironment


• Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions


• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to performfunctions


• Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds


• May be exposed to movingmachinery, sharp metal chips, coolants, industrial chemicals, noise, heavymaterials, etc


• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to performessential job functions
