Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines is seeking an Executive Client Service Associate to support an Executive Director Planner and enhance client satisfaction through direct contact with clients, custodians, and internal teams. The role emphasizes high-level service for affluent clients and complex financial transactions.

The position requires 3+ years in financial services, excellent client service and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related industry experience (Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer).
• Exceptional client service skills, phone/video meeting etiquette and ability to communicate effectively.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required.
• Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and work with frequent change.
• CRPC and/or Series 65 strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Work with an Executive Director – supporting a large practice with multiple priorities and high level of service expertise.
• Interact with affluent clients and handle complex financial transactions including estate transfers and cost basis calculations.
• Evaluate a client’s financial situation by reviewing statements and researching documents to identify gaps in a portfolio.
• Collaborate with CPAs, Estate Attorneys and other service providers to resolve complex client issues.
• Cultivate deeper client relationships with proactive and reactive outreach; onboard clients and complete necessary paperwork.
• Monitor client account activity and resolve issues; verify accounts are traded into the correct model.
• Maintain risk awareness and compliance per policy and regulatory procedures.
• Participate in projects, task forces and product rollouts to ensure CSA voice is represented.
• Provide mentorship and training to other CSAs.
