Job summary

Compass Group USA at T-Mobile Arena is seeking a Premium Catering & Clubs Supervisor to manage suite operations during events, from setup to breakdown. You will lead runners and servers, ensure food and beverage displays meet standards, and resolve guest issues with managers.

Ideal candidates are punctual, able to work nights and weekends, and proficient with POS systems and event paperwork. This role emphasizes guest service, upselling, and strict safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with ability to lead a team during events.
• Ability to upsell and maximize revenue per guest.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Meets with the directors before the event to go over details.
• Supervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns.
• Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Supervises the runners and servers before, during and after the event.
• Establishes rapport with guests and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Determine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
• Completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines.
• Performs post-event product inventory and restocks.
• Creates, modifies and closes sales checks in the point of sale system.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Interacts with ownership groups to ensure needs are met.
• Maintains service areas.
• Employs safety and sanitation practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
