Restaurant Associates is seeking a Catering Director to lead the catering and events program for a premier corporate dining account in NYC, delivering an exceptional hospitality experience.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will set the standard for hospitality, refined service, and impeccable execution across premier dining experiences and events, while managing staff, menus, contracts, and budgets to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in hospitality, including 2 years in catering management.
• Experience developing and managing SOPs, overseeing day-to-day operations, and handling financials.
• Booking, selecting, and costing menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment is key.
• Supervising food preparation, service, and cleanup is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees internal and external catering events.
• Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan, including event planning services and detailed menu development.
• Hires, trains, and schedules catering staff; develops in-service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures successful operations of catering functions including labor and food cost control, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup.
