Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or in progress to obtain.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Two years’ experience in law enforcement, military, corrections or other security capacity, or two years EMT experience.
• Currently hold an EMT license from the state; National Registry as required.
• Able to meet a departmental physical fitness standard.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; pass a 70% skills test.
• Experience in casino security preferred; guest service auditions may be required.
• Must pass interview and complete training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical scenes and assesses situations.
• Takes charge of all medical emergencies upon arrival; documents and assists as needed.
• Train peers on use of medical gear on an assistance basis.
• Inventory and document trauma bags at shift start and after use; daily drug test inventory.
• Participate in meetings after medical incidents or procedure changes.
• InspectAEDs and oxygen supplies; perform monthly checks and paperwork.
• Monitor access points, deter theft, manage crowds, ensure safety.
• Escort employees and guests; provide guest service and headcounts.
