Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs & Hinckley in Minnesota is seeking a friendly server/bartender to provide dining service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner and uphold our service standards.

You will take and fill drink orders, maintain a clean work area, and support cash handling policies while upselling beverages to enhance the guest experience. Alcohol awareness training is required; Mille Lacs Band member preference applies.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending and/or serving experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Training certification required within 2 months.
• Mille Lacs Band member and American Indian preference in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous beverage service to guests in accordance with Grand Casino standards.
• Take and fill drink orders; assist in maintaining casino floor in a clean and neat manner.
• Adhere to established cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know beverage menus and upsell to enhance guest gaming experience.
• Address guest needs promptly and respond to questions; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with utilities, bartenders, and supervisors to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with health regulations.
• Flexibly learn and work across multiple food or beverage outlets.
