The role requires a hands-on technician with 5+ years in carbon fiber/prepregs, skills in scarfing, vacuum bagging, bonding and CAD interpretation, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining cosmetic and structural standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a composite technician, with emphasis on trim, final assembly, panel fitment, and structural repair.
• Hands-on experience with advanced carbon fiber/prepregs in automotive, aftermarket, or motorsport environments.
• Proven ability to read CAD drawings, laminate schedules, and technical layouts.

Aufgaben

• Rapid crash and damage repairs on track-damaged components with scarfing, laminate schedules and vacuum-bagging to restore integrity and cosmetics.
• Trim, drill, and scribe cured carbon fiber components according to CAD drawings and tolerances.
• Perform final assembly using adhesives (e.g., Hysol) and fasteners ensuring perfect fit, body lines, and gaps.
• Quality control of parts post-cure, post-repair, and post-assembly to meet shop standards.
