Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in the United States is seeking a Body Shop Technician to repair or replace damaged body parts to factory specs, ensuring an invisible, high‑quality finish. You will work to meet or exceed original factory fit and finish using factory and dealership guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing repair orders, performing teardown, measuring, part identification, and ensuring all work is completed per documentation with final quality checks before painting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Review each repair order and notes to understand repairs before work.
• Complete repairs per documentation and factory specifications.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform teardown, identify parts, and reassemble with quality checks.
• Sign off on all quality checks prior to painting.
