Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Premier Banking Relationship Manager to drive growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships in the Lake St. Louis area. You’ll network, manage a strong prospect pipeline, and collaborate with product partners to deliver client success.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, disciplined sales activity, and a client-centric approach. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of sales experience, and required securities/licensing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
5+ years new customer acquisition sales or related experience required.
Series 6 & 63 licensure required, or able to obtain within time frame.
NMLS required, or able to obtain within time frame.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a robust, high-quality prospect pipeline while maintaining and expanding strong client relationships.
Proactively develop, expand, and maintain a strong network of referral sources and centers of influence by outreach.
Identify and close new-to-bank relationships and develop new business with prospects and existing clients in assigned territories.
Participate in independent and/or joint calling with product partners for coordinated client success.
Conduct sales calls and move prospects through the sales cycle; set appointments via phone, email, and campaigns.
Maintain strong sales records in bank systems to manage pipeline activities and forecasts.
Champion a client-focused culture aligned with Commerce’s values and growth objectives, and share insights to accelerate growth.
Perform other duties as assigned.
