Job summary

Vanguard GMC of Sherman is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Technician to join our production team. You will perform high-quality collision repairs—from disassembly and panel replacement to welding—following OEM specs to restore vehicle safety and structural integrity.

Collaborate with paint, parts, and service teams to meet promised deadlines in a clean, safe shop. Minimum 2–5+ years in auto body repair; I-CAR Platinum/Gold preferred (or willingness to obtain); own professional tools and

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of professional auto body repair experience in a collision shop.
• I-CAR Platinum or Gold Class certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Own professional-grade hand and pneumatic tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and blueprinting vehicles to assess damage and parts needed.
• Structural and body repair including panel replacement and welding.
• Follow OEM procedures to restore safety systems and frame alignment.
• Reassemble, test functions, and prep for paint/detailing.
• Collaborate with paint, parts, and service teams to meet delivery dates.
