Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks an Anesthesiologist for Baptist Memorial Hospital-De Soto in Mississippi. The position follows a 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule, with a case mix across cardiovascular, neurology, obstetrics and more. Join a collaborative team supported by CRNAs and surgeons.

The role includes pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consent discussions, and management during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Licensure and board eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Mississippi medical license or board-eligibility by the American Board of Anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments include regional, cardiovascular, EP Lab, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics and more.
• Pre-anesthesia assessment and obtaining patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient’s physiological condition during procedures.
• Support medical management in the Anesthesia Department.
