Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, Mississippi, seeks an Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team led by NAPA. The role involves 2 weeks on, 1 week off scheduling with day shifts and call, covering a wide range of procedures and anesthesia services.

A competitive compensation package includes a total rewards salary of $537K plus a $30K sign-on incentive. Required are MD/DO, completion of Anesthesiology Residency, board eligibility/board certification, and Mississippi medical

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesia.
• Current medical licensure in Mississippi.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).
• Mississippi medical licensure is active.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient’s physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
