Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Consulting Expert — AI Training & Evaluation to help train frontier AI to perform advanced consulting work. You’ll diagnose problems, navigate dense source material, and produce rigorous, decision-grade outputs clients will value.

You’ll create and grade expert-level deliverables, synthesize messy inputs into clear cases, and deliver client-ready memos and models with explicit assumptions and risks. This is a remote, contract role paying $95/hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm.
• Elite structured problem-solving with defensible recommendations.
• Strong financial acumen and advanced modeling skills (LBO/3-statement).

Responsibilities

• Produce and review consulting deliverables such as: M&A / investment cases, pro forma analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Synthesize messy inputs into a clear, structured, well-reasoned case with credible sources.
• Deliver client-ready work products: memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions, risks, and conditions.
