Mercor is seeking a Consulting Expert to lead AI training and evaluation engagements. You will diagnose problems, work through dense source material, and produce decision-grade deliverables for frontier AI consulting projects.

The role emphasizes independent work, elite problem-solving, and strong financial modeling, with a flexible remote contract structure and the ability to manage end-to-end engagements for clients.

Qualificações

• 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm or equivalent in-house experience.
• Elite structured problem-solving with defensible recommendations.
• Strong financial and business acumen; advanced modeling skills.
• Ability to work independently on engagements.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and review consulting deliverables such as M&A / investment cases (EBITDA normalization, valuation, acquisition-debt structuring, covenant and sensitivity analysis, 'proceed-with-conditions' recommendations).
• Post-merger integration plans (synergy phasing vs. one-time costs, operating pro formas, integration narratives).
• Provide strategic/operational recommendations backed by quantitative analysis.
• Synthesize messy inputs into a clear, structured, well-reasoned case with credible sources.
• Deliver client-ready work products: memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions, risks, and conditions.
