Job summary

Charles Schwab in Chicago seeks a VP, Active Trader Financial Consultant to grow an affluent wealth-management practice and provide investment strategies and planning-based guidance to high-net-worth clients. You will develop and execute plans to attract new assets while deepening relationships through trading tools and education, risk management, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• Active Series 7 license required.
• Active Series 66 (63/65) license required (may be obtained within 90 days).
• Active Life and Health Insurance license required (may be obtained within 120 days).
• Series 3 license preferred.
• CFP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice a consultative, goal-based wealth management approach for clients.
• Provide investment strategies and coaching on trading to meet client objectives.
• Grow branch/brand awareness and deepen client relationships through referrals.
• Execute a client relationship management process to retain clients for life.
• Engage with clients to build trust, support retention, and drive referrals.
• Collaborate with partners across the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions.
