ELISA Scientist - Analytical Development Testing Group

  • Contributes as part of a team of AD scientists towards the execution of various analytical methods to support biological therapeutic product release and characterization testing in a compliance-based environment.
  • Independently performs routine testing, such as but not limited to ELISA, Potency, Activity, HCP, Titer, qPCR - using established test methods, including associated protocol/report documentation and presentations.
  • Conducts work in compliance with cGMP/GLP, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for working on other non-lab-based tasks from time to time if assigned.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment in technique and method selection, protocol and study design and execution, data analysis and use of standard practices and procedures for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity to meet assigned objectives.
  • Responsible for maintenance of lab equipment and participate in general lab upkeep.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical, or other science related degree concentration with some demonstrated experience with ELISA and/or other plate-based assays or 2 years of demonstrated work experience with ELISA and/or other plate-based assays, with a bachelor’s degree.
    • Knowledge of principle of ELISA and above listed plate-based assays, basic understanding of theories of relevant techniques and of industry practices and standards required
    • Experience with cell- based techniques is preferred
    • Experience with HPLC is a plus
    • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
    • Willingness to cross-train on LC techniques like titer, SEC, CE, iCiEF
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

    Additional Information

    • 60 Minute Onsite Meeting with Team

    Additional Details:

    The position is full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Lexington, MA, are encouraged to apply.
