Job summary

Rutgers University-Camden seeks a Research Aide (Eligibility Program Specialist) for the Gloucester County Territory. The role administers child care subsidies, manages eligibility processes from review to determination, and handles data entry and reporting under grant funds.

It also promotes consumer education and program quality audits within a 35-hour week. Ideal candidates bring an associate degree or higher, strong communication, and data skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school/vocational school or equivalent with office data experience.
• Associates Degree or higher preferred; 1–2 years of related work preferred.
• Ability to record and maintain data; and effective client service skills.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication and bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administers state and federal child care subsidies and handles data storage.
• Manages daily eligibility process including reviews and determinations.
• Performs data entry and completes related subsidy reports and terminations.
• Provides consumer education and supports program quality audits.
