Job summary
Orange Elevator Company Inc is seeking an experienced elevator technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in South Florida. You will lead field operations with autonomy while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires 4+ years in the elevator industry, strong schematic and electrical drawing skills, and the ability to pass the Florida CERT exam.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on elevator industry experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend elevator schematics and electrical drawings.
- Competence with a digital multimeter and related testing tools.
- Physical ability to carry up to 50 lbs during daily tasks.
- Own a personal set of daily field tools for service work.
- Must pass the Florida Certified Elevator Technician exam.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex maintenance and service protocols for elevator systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions using electrical schematics and testing tools.
- Lead on-site repair projects and minor installations.
- Coordinate service routes within a 50-mile radius with a company vehicle.
- Maintain safety standards and document compliance with Florida elevator codes.
- Interpret architectural drawings and power specs to guide upgrades.
