Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Elevator Technician to join our dynamic team! This is a permanent position in the Construction Industry, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elevator maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring optimal functionality and safety. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to during the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify wear and tear and potential issues before they escalate.
  • Replacing parts such as contactors, rollers, door components, and control boards to ensure optimal elevator operation.
  • Making necessary adjustments to guarantee the safe operation of all elevators.
  • Diagnosing issues quickly and accurately, and executing reliable repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis to maintain the longevity and functionality of the elevators.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on maintenance schedules, potential issues, and repair progress.

Requirements/Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair, preferably in the Construction Industry.

Extensive knowledge of elevator systems, including the ability to replace parts and make adjustments to ensure safe operation.

Excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify issues quickly and accurately.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to team members and other stakeholders.

A team player, with the ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals.

A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.

Experience in performing preventative maintenance tasks, with a focus on maintaining the longevity and functionality of elevators.

The ability to execute reliable repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of all elevators.
