Job summary

Industrial Commission of Arizona seeks an Elevator Inspector to perform on-site safety inspections of elevators and related conveyances across Arizona. You will sign acceptance tags for compliant equipment and red-tag unsafe installations, following AZ OSHA and Elevator Act requirements.

This role may offer remote work options within Arizona, with a focus on accuracy, reporting, and code compliance. Must meet pre-employment requirements and possess or obtain required certifications within 18

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass background checks.
• Experience in elevator safety, inspection or related work is preferred.
• Knowledge of AZ Elevator Act and safety codes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of elevators, lifts and related equipment statewide.
• Produce accurate inspection reports and determine if equipment is compliant.
• Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on codes, rules and safety practices.
• Maintain workplace records and participate in required training.
