Description

We're seeking Seasonal Elevator Operators who will play a key role in providing excellent customer service by accurately operating the scale and assisting with daily operational and maintenance tasks. This is a short-term summer position supporting peak seasonal demands, typically lasting around three weeks during the harvest period. The role requires strong communication and teamwork to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration across the branch. Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is essential to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers courteously and assist with inquiries, complaints, or concerns professionally.
• Load and unload grain trucks, inspecting grain for moisture, insects, and foreign material.
• Operate equipment such as conveyors, trippers, and flow pipes to move grain into storage or loadout.
• Monitor grain temperatures using thermometers and record readings.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on elevator equipment.
• Fill anhydrous ammonia tanks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility meeting safety and operational standards.
• Work a flexible schedule during harvest season, including variable days, shifts, and potential overtime.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures; maintain professionalism and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and location goals.

Requirements
