Job summary
Elevated is seeking skilled elevator technicians to assist in modernizations and repairs for hydraulic and traction elevators, including installing microprocessor controllers, door equipment, pumping units, hoist machines, wiring and related components.
Responsibilities include completing modernizations and repairs in a professional and profitable manner, performing inspections to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements, conducting annual safety tests, and helping determine equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Elevator Technician license or CET degree preferred.
- Experience with electrical reading and testing equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of hoisting and rigging equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete modernizations and repairs professionally and profitably.
- Perform inspections to ensure safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
- Carry out annual safety tests during final inspections.
- Assist in evaluating equipment suitability and proposed modifications.
- Perform related duties as required.
