Authentic Elevator Services, Corp. is seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join our Operations Department. You will maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair traction and hydraulic elevator systems across our service area, with after-hours availability and travel across NYC and surrounding regions.

We value safety, high workmanship, and reliable service. A minimum of 4 years’ experience is required, along with the ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and work

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of elevator maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of elevator components, functions, and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and NYC elevator code.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Availability for travel throughout the service area and after-hours work when required.
• Ability to meet the role’s physical requirements, including lifting up to 100 lbs and pushing a weight test car of up to 500 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components.
• Respond to service calls, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and restore safe operation.
• Inspect wiring and components, replace worn or defective parts, and test electrical systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and technical support to resolve complex problems.
• Document service work and communicate findings clearly.
• Travel throughout all five NYC boroughs, Long Island, and Westchester.
• Respond to periodic after-hours emergency callbacks and perform other duties as assigned.

Authentic Elevator Services is seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic with 4+ years of elevator maintenance experience to join our Operations Department.

What You’ll Do

Preferred Qualifications

• QEI certification or NYC DOB Inspector License
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
