Job summary

American Elevator Group is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair elevators and other lifting equipment in the Charleston, WV area. You will ensure safety and reliability, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and provide excellent service to building owners and occupants.

The role requires at least 4 years of elevator experience, completion of an apprenticeship or technical school in elevator repair, and a valid license where required.

Qualifications

• Requires license as Elevator Mechanic as required by state/city.
• Apprenticeship program or technical school training in elevator repair completed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect elevators of all types, diagnose causes of faults, perform repairs and adjustments.
• Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment.
