Job summary

Vasile Elevator, Inc in South Florida is seeking an experienced Millwork Technician to fabricate and assemble elevator interiors. The role requires reading shop release drawings and work orders, and to work safely with metal, glass, resins and laminates in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of millwork experience, strong math and problem-solving abilities, and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of millwork experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret SHOP RELEASE Drawings and Work Orders.
• Must exhibit strong math, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Must follow health and safety protocols.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing effectively.
• Works well in a team or independently.
• Attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates and assembles elevator ceiling and wall components from drawings and directives.
• Safely handles materials including metal, glass, resins and laminates.
• Operates and maintains wood-working machines and tools (table saw, edge-bander, etc.).
• Keeps shop area clean, organized and free of hazards.
• Manages storage of raw materials, WIP and finished items and communicates inventory needs.
