Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering, or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Previous work as a software test or build engineer.
• Proven experience in software development using high level languages such as C# or C++.
• Experience with Python, Java, and cross-platform development (Windows and Linux).
• Experience with development tools such as compilers, debuggers, version control, and build automation.
• Knowledge of diagramming software such as Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently and in a team.
• Good problem-solving and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product features, design test parameters, create quality checks, and write final test procedures for quality technicians.
• Maintain a strong engineering and product design perspective with attention to detail and creativity.
• Create simple yet thorough quality-check procedures to ensure peak product performance.
• Be part of the software build and release team; develop and maintain scripts and workflows to automate the build process.
• Compile, package, and deploy software artifacts to various environments.
• Implement and maintain build scripts and pipelines to automatically build, test and validate code changes; integrate with Jenkins, GitLab, StarTeam.
• Routinely review documentation, build steps and test procedures for improvements and automation.
