Job summary

KONE in the Orlando, FL area is seeking a Construction Mechanic to install and service elevators and escalators, coordinating with subcontractors and general contractors to meet installation timelines while maintaining a strong safety focus.

You will handle major components, including rails, pits, hoist-way equipment and door track, wire smaller parts, interpret technical drawings, and report progress to the supervisor in a fast-paced site setting.

Qualifications

• NEIEP program completed and valid credential required.
• Florida CET/CC license required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of Elevator installation including rails, pits and hoist-way equipment.
• Wiring and installing smaller elevator components such as door track and links.
• Maintain safety standards and report progress to supervisor.
