Job summary

The h.wood Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional, knowledgeable service in a high-volume, fine-dining environment. You will guide guests, communicate specials, and collaborate with bussers and kitchen staff to ensure a memorable experience.

Open availability is preferred; 21+ must hold Certified Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service training. Dental and Vision insurance offered after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional guest service in a high-volume, fine-dining setting.
• Ability to convey Chef's specials and menu changes clearly to guests.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to hospitality.
• Strong communication with team members and management.
• Willingness to receive and give directions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through all phases of their experience at the restaurant.
• Inform customers of Chef’s specials and menu changes clearly.
• Take and upsell food and beverage orders.
• Oversee table maintenance and coordinate service with the team.
• Work with bussers to clear and reset tables and stock stations.
• Respond to guests’ needs proactively.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
• Ensure proper inventory and equipment readiness.
• Communicate with management and service staff about guest needs or incidents.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings and review expectations.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
