Job summary

North Beach Social in Florida seeks a dedicated server who can greet guests with a warm smile, seat them, take accurate orders, and deliver food and drinks with prompt, professional service in a lively beachside setting.

You will provide menu recommendations, upsell when appropriate, check IDs for alcoholic beverages, communicate with the kitchen, handle payments, and clear tables while maintaining a spotless, welcoming dining room and a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as waiter/waitress is required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle money responsibly.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests.
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Taking orders using software, order slips, or by memorization.
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Delivering checks and collecting bill payments.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.
