Job summary

Savannah Country Club is seeking a Bartender to provide prompt, courteous service of beverages and food to guests. You will demonstrate knowledge of drinks, menu items, and preparation methods, while selling items and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will adhere to safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations, perform side work, stock bar areas, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and preparation methods.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard menu items, food preparation and ingredients.
• Market, sell, and serve all menu items.
• Receive and serve food and beverage orders with excellent customer service.
• Comply with safety and sanitation ordinances and state liquor laws.
• Complete side work (stocking, napkins, cleaning counters and tables).
• Stock areas with linen, glassware and silverware; keep areas clean and organized.
• Respond to guest needs and requests; report unsafe conditions.
• Cross-train as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Treat others with respect and encourage teamwork.
