Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in commercial buildings.
2. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to map out system layouts and ensure compliance with project specifications.
3. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems to ensure performance and safety standards.
4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other trades to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
6. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards, conduct safety audits, and address hazards.
7. Documentation: Keep accurate records of work, including logs and safety reports.
8. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients on job sites, addressing concerns and questions.

Qualifications:

1. Journeyman or Master Electrician certification.
2. Experience with commercial build-outs, renovations, and service contracts.
3. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
4. Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage systems.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
6. Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes.
7. Experience with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting.
8. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
