Job Overview:
KAD Construction Inc seeks an experienced and driven Electrical Foreman to oversee a range of commercial electrical projects. The Electrical Foreman will lead electrical teams, ensure projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires flexibility, multitasking, and quick thinking. The Foreman will coordinate projects, manage safety, and communicate needs and issues to the superintendent. The role involves hands-on electrical work to keep projects on schedule. Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement work strategies based on project blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
2. Supervise and guide a team of electricians and apprentices.
3. Ensure projects are completed within timelines and budgets, maintaining quality and compliance with local codes and regulations.
4. Perform hands-on electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.
5. Conduct safety meetings, enforce safety standards, and provide safety equipment.
6. Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose issues, and develop solutions.
7. Communicate effectively with Superintendents, Project Managers, VP of Field Management, and clients.
8. Train and mentor electricians on technical skills and safety.
9. Maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings and documentation.
10. Manage procurement and inventory of electrical components and materials.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an electrical foreman, with project management and team leadership skills.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and wiring schematics.
4. Competency in using digital tools like an iPad for accessing project documentation.
5. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
6. Strong communication and leadership skills.
7. Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
8. Driver's License required; Journeyman Electrical License preferred.
